Steve Russell, Sports Director of Gainesville’s AM850 since 1998 and Sports Director for WUFT-TV, addressed the Volusia Gator Club at Our Deck Down Under in Port Orange on August 27, 2015. The strong turnout reflects the enthusiasm the Club members have for the upcoming season that was also evident from the lively question and answer session following Russell’s remarks.
In addition, the Club welcomed several new members, awarded some great raffle prizes to lucky Gators and enjoyed discussing the upcoming football season.
The next club meeting will be Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Our Deck Down Under. Our guest speaker will be Pat Dooley from the Gainseville Sun. Be sure to check the website often for more information.
