Education in Focus
The University of Florida had the honor of hosting the State University System’s Trustee Retreat and Board of Governor’s meeting on campus this week. The Trustee Retreat included a visit from Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis. Governor DeSantis addressed the group and emphasized his pride for the state’s higher education systems. In case you missed it, Florida was recently ranked #1 for higher education, for the third year in a row, by U.S. News and World Report.
With the support of Governor DeSantis, we are confident that the University of Florida and our State University System will continue to be leaders among the nation in higher education.
