2020 Scholarship Awards
The Daytona Beach Gator Club awarded $11,000 in scholarships to deserving Volusia County High School graduates.
While we were not able to gather in person to celebrate these outstanding students, we are no less excited to welcome them to the Gator Nation!

Anjali Collins
University High School

Anjali Collins of University High School was President and Founder of both the CARE Cancer Awareness Club and KeepUp After School Tutoring Club at her high school. Her involvement includes Vice President of the Environmental Awareness Club for three years, an active volunteer with Red Cross and a youth leader at her church. She is pursuing a Biology degree on a pre-med track.

Madisen Domayer of Seabreeze High School aspires to work toward a Health Sciences degree on a pre-med track. Her involvement includes being a Futures Foundation Tomorrow’s Leader, a volunteer in the Best Buddies program for three years, a Seabreeze High School ambassador for four years and an active member of her church, Tomoka Christian. Madisen is also a Medallion of Excellence recipient by the Daytona Beach News Journal and was a student athletic trainer in addition to being on the exec board for both the Sports Medicine Academy and American Sign Language Association at her high school.

Vivi Feigenbaum of Seabreeze High school is an aspiring Nutrition and Health Sciences major. She was Senior Class President, a Futures Foundation Tomorrow’s Leader and volunteer with the Volusia County Teen Court Program all four years of high school. Vivi was also involved in various athletics and was a Girls State Delegate with the American Legion.

Jacob Gutierrez of DeLand High is a 4-year recipient of the Award for Academic Excellence from the Volusia County Schools Advisory Council. He was a Futures Foundation Tomorrow’s Leader, involved in SGA and choir and president of the Asian Student Association at his high school for two years. He is pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Gabriella Peburn of Father Lopez High School is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. In addition to countless volunteer hours within the community, she danced her way to a National Championship with the Dancing Green Waves. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Father Lopez Green Print Newspaper, as well as the founder and director of a charity drive. Gabriella is also a National Semi Finalist Scholarship Winner from the National Honor Society.

Ryan Wiener of Spruce Creek High School is a two-time AP Scholar, Civil Air Patrol Airman First Class and was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes for all four years of high school. BSBA Economics 2020
Britney Gaston is this year’s Graduate Scholarship recipient. She has earned her BSBA in Economics and is working towards her Master’s in Economics. Her involvement at the University of Florida includes Director of Finance for U Matter We Care, a delegate for the Gator Aides team in Dance Marathon, International Programs Student Ambassador and is a member of the University Economics Society. She has done several internships including with Security First Insurance, Invest Africa in London as a Research Analyst intern and a Corporate Finance Consultant at FTI Consulting in NYC.
